NetPin is a premium browser extension that reveals server locations, uncovers hidden trackers, and analyzes the sustainability of every website you visit.

The Internet is a Black Box

When you visit a website, you share your IP, location, and device data. But where does your data go? Who is hosting it? How many third-party trackers are watching your every move? We believe infrastructure transparency should be a fundamental right.

Hidden Trackers

Websites inject invisible pixels and scripts to track your browsing habits across the web.

Server Uncertainty

Data sovereignty matters. Knowing which country stores your data affects your legal rights.

Privacy Concerns

Without inspecting the TLS/SSL certs and WHOIS data, establishing trust is nearly impossible.

Everything you need to know

NetPin provides a comprehensive breakdown of the digital infrastructure.

Location Detection

Map exactly where the server is located globally, including city, region, and distance from you.

Hosting & ASN

Identify the hosting provider, ISP, and Autonomous System Number (ASN) routing your connection.

Security Insights

Analyze TLS/SSL inspection, privacy jurisdictions, and compute a comprehensive connection risk score.

Tracker Detection

Uncover hidden cookies, tracking pixels, and third-party services loaded on the current page.

Carbon Awareness

Verify if the server runs on renewable energy and view its carbon efficiency and green certification.

Export Reports

Generate and download comprehensive JSON, CSV, or TXT reports of the analyzed infrastructure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Think of NetPin as an X-ray machine for the internet. Whenever you visit a website, NetPin works in the background to show you exactly where that website's physical servers are located, what company actually owns them, and how environmentally friendly they are. It gives you total transparency into the hidden world behind the websites you use every day.
When you use a website, your personal data is sent to a physical computer (a server) somewhere in the world. Different countries have very different laws regarding digital privacy and government surveillance. By knowing exactly which country a website's servers are in, you can understand which laws are governing your personal data and decide if you feel safe using that service.
Yes! NetPin is 100% free and open-source. We believe that digital privacy and understanding internet infrastructure are fundamental rights. Everyone should have access to these tools without having to pay a subscription fee.
Absolutely not. NetPin is built with a strict "Privacy First" rule. All the data analysis happens directly on your own computer. We do not track what websites you visit, we do not store your personal information, and we have no database of your browsing history. Your data stays yours.
Many websites use invisible "trackers"—tiny snippets of code that silently monitor what you click on, how long you stay on a page, and where you go next. NetPin actively scans the website you are on to expose these hidden trackers, showing you a list of exactly which companies are trying to watch your digital footprint.
The internet relies on massive data centers that consume huge amounts of electricity. NetPin checks if the server hosting the website you are visiting is powered by renewable, green energy (like solar or wind power) or if it relies on fossil fuels. This helps you support environmentally sustainable platforms.
Not at all. NetPin is designed to be incredibly lightweight and efficient. It runs silently in the background and only fetches detailed infrastructure information when you actively open the extension dashboard, ensuring your web browsing remains fast and uninterrupted.
Our Mission

Democratizing the Web

We believe users have a right to know who they are connecting to. Our vision is to demystify internet routing, hold hosting providers accountable for their carbon footprint, and give power back to the user.
